Located centrally in midtown Manhattan, the Big Screen Plaza is a cultural reflection of the surrounding neighborhoods – a stimulating blend of Herald Square, Korea Town and Chelsea. The Screen and Plaza provide a destination for unique experiences to our gloriously varied audiences–
from travelers (Penn Station is three blocks away) to MSG / Herald Square strollers and Chelsea Art lovers.

Our system connects to a variety of fixed media, including Blu-ray, game consoles and VJ equipment. This expandable platform allows for broadcast-quality compatibility for media events and unique interactive installations, as well as cutting-edge video art.

EVENTI, BAR BASQUE, FOODPARC & BEERPARC, the PLAZA

The BSP’s screen is adjacent to a brand-new 54-story tower, with the Eventi Hotel on the lower 24 stories, The Beatrice luxury rentals above, the Bar Basque Restaurant on the second floor and the Foodparc and Beerparc on the plaza level. These venues and the Screen continue to generate an ever-evolving audience, drawing passers-by into the Plaza and the BSP experience.

Public Plaza: The public plaza adjacent to the screen offers a prime outdoors viewing spot, consisting of 10,000 sq.ft. of granite stone interspersed with a variety of trees. A reflecting pool and backlit art glass, as well as cafe tables and chairs throughout the Plaza, complete the serene urban idyll.

Eventi: Think of the 300 high-end hotel rooms at the Eventi as ultra-comfortable, sleep-in opera boxes for a culturally sophisticated audience, roughly 60% national and 40% global.

Foodparc & Beerparc: Up for some crispy lotus root chips and a microbrew to wash them down? A 6,000 sq. ft contemporary, upscale food court with indoor and outdoor seating, the Foordparc welcomes 1,500-2,000 visitors daily, and the foodie fun continues with the new baby – the outdoors BeerParc.

Bar Basque: Designed by Syd Mead (Blade Runner, Tron) the restaurant is a vision of Basque country in the space age – with a block-long outdoor terrace – but you’ll forget to even wonder when you get a taste of the tapas. The luck diners and cocktail-drinkers on screen-level enjoy an unparalleled view of the Screen.
